C.A. Lawton earns ISO 45001: 2018 certification

A commitment to safety and our employees, C.A. Lawton is proud to announce our ISO 45001: 2018 certification.
The certification is for occupational health and safety. An auditor for Husk Registrars assessed Lawton’s safety plans and procedures, as well as our safety audits and management commitment the week of January 13th.
Husk certified the facility's management system for ISO 45001: 2018.

What is ISO 45001: 2018 certification?
The ISO 45001 certification is for occupational health and safety management systems.
The certification provides a framework for organizations to manage risks and improve health and safety performance. That framework includes policies, objectives, planning, implementation, operation, auditing and reviewing.
ISO 45001 uses a “Plan-Do-Check-Act” methodology that helps manage health and safety risks at a location. Key elements of the certification include leadership commitment, worker participation, hazard identification, emergency planning, incident investigation and risk assessment.
By adopting this framework, a business shows employees and external stakeholders that the organization is committed to worker health, safety and well-being. This in turn boosts reputation, morale and retaining employees.

C.A. Lawton's other ISO certifications
Lawton is no stranger to ISO certifications, already having ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications.
The ISO 9001: 2015 certification is for quality management systems.
The ISO 14001: 2015 certification is for environmental management systems.
The Lawton Standard Co’s five iron foundries and one steel foundry are all ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
All three ISO certifications follow the "Plan-Do-Check-Act" methodology. When procedures align in all three certifications at Lawton, we streamline them under the Lawton Standard Integrated Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Management System
C.A. Lawton in De Pere is the first foundry in the family of businesses to receive the ISO 45001 certification.
