The Lawton Standard Co. seal is our stamp of approval certifying that this foundry is operated to our ideals of “Planet, People, then Profit.” This philosophy combines responsible environmental practices coupled with operations based on safe and sound operating practices utilizing continuous improvement techniques to obtain a positive return for all our stakeholders. Our environmental and community goals go beyond simply meeting regulatory requirements. We integrate these goals with our strategic and economic objectives – focusing on future sustainability. Our corporate values uphold our commitment to sound stewardship with suppliers, employees, and customers. When planning for the future, we utilize an environmental management system, which facilitates the measurement of potential ecological impact of our actions. We seek to reduce waste, re-use or recycle materials, and select and use materials from suppliers that are environmentally aware in their business activities and minimize energy consumption. We believe responsibility goes beyond the organization into the community and into the environment, so we educate our employees about good environmental practices at home and in the workplace.

We are a participant in the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources’ Green Tier program and a member of the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council’s Green Masters Program. Over the last year, we has improved performance in each of the nine sustainability areas designated by the Green Masters Program.
