Lawton DifferenceAt The C.A. Lawton Co., we are proud of the reputation our foundry has built over the last two centuries; a reputation for quality, on-time iron casting solutions alongside high-touch customer service.

In this series of blog posts, we will be highlighting the “Lawton Difference” and how Lawton makes the difficult task of procuring castings easier for buyers. We accomplish this through integrated offerings, dedicated customer advocates, a culture of flexibility and urgency, and a focus on quality and on-time delivery. In this post, we’ll walk you through Lawton’s on-site capabilities.

Through Lawton’s single, Green Bay, Wisconsin manufacturing location, we provide a seamless integration of the following services:

Patterns

Because of the integral role patterns play in the shape and accuracy of casting and their contribution to iron integrity, Lawton maintains a state-of-the-art pattern operation. Our design balances intimate knowledge of the casting process, annual volume, investment and material selection.

At Lawton, castings can be produced from patterns made from many materials. The variety ranges from foam for single-use castings to different types of wood and urethane. The pattern material is selected based on the application and volume.
