Pandemic Response Policy

Contagious disease response is a part of today’s business climate, therefore The C.A. Lawton Co. has prepared a Pandemic Response Policy to guide the organization through such events. The policy is guided by recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

To help control the spread of the contagious disease, employees are encouraged to follow the following CDC recommendations:

  • Stay home when sick
  • Follow appropriate cough and sneeze etiquette
  • Use good hand hygiene at the breakrooms, common entrance/exits to work areas

Clean your hands often with either an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60-95% alcohol, or to wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Soap and water should be used preferentially if hands are visibly dirty.

Likewise, Lawton will ensure the routine cleaning of all frequently touched surfaces, such as desks, tables, countertops, and doorknobs using cleansers or disinfectants recommended by the CDC and following the manufacturer’s instructions.
