4/15/20 – A reminder that The C.A. Lawton Co. will be closed for our 2nd shutdown the week of April 26 through May 2, 2020, due to the issues resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. This is our continued effort to protect our most valued asset – our people.

4/3/20 – A reminder that The C.A. Lawton Co. will be closed the week of April 5-11 due to the issues resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

4/1/20 – Today, our employees are at risk due to COVID-19. As I discussed in our letter last week, we are choosing to do a 1-week soft shutdown (melt deck only) this week and a 1-week full shut down next week (4/6/20-4/10/20). This is to promote the health of our employees and maybe prevent or reduce our community’s hospitals from getting crushed and overwhelmed with critically ill patients needing ICU beds in the future.

3/24/20 – Today, the Governor of the State of Wisconsin issued a “Safer at Home” order which enacts restrictions to our state. The C.A. Lawton Co. has chosen to enact a limited shutdown in response to the pandemic. These actions are aimed at protecting the health of our vital workforce by lessening the curve of the spread. We understand that while many of our administrative positions can work from home, our production employees cannot. This shutdown will allow these vital members of our team to “shelter in place” and hopefully slow the advancement of this dangerous situation.

3/24/20 – We wanted to let our clients and supporters know that we are here! We are taking precautions but plan to continue operating unless it is no longer safe to do so. Lawton is monitoring the situation daily.

We are currently limiting outside access to our facilities in order to protect the health of all persons. If you need to access our facility, please schedule an appointment.

Contagious disease response is a part of today’s business climate, therefore The C.A. Lawton Co. has prepared a Pandemic Response Policy to guide the organization through such events. The policy is guided by recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Thank you and we wish you all good health!
