De Pere, WI—The American Foundry Society has selected The C.A. Lawton Co. as a recipient of the prestigious 2014 Applied Research Award for work on energy-use reduction and energy use monitoring. The AFS Research Award was presented to the industry team of Sensor Synergy, Inc., North Vernon Industry Corporation and The C.A. Lawton Co. as part of the 118th Metal casting Congress in Schaumburg, IL.
